It's been 5 YEARS since the 9/11 attacks, and Osama bin Laden STILL hasn't been caught, so who's the one who's not paying attention?

Bill Clinton was lambasted for firing 66 cruise missile at various terrorist training camps and Bin Laden in the 90's.

Democrats and liberals do fight against terrorism, and terrorists want us to change the way we live and act because of them. Why give in to fear? So far all I see from the right wing is limiting freedoms and rhetoric, that's not fighting terror.

Just asking this kind of question proves that you haven't been paying attention to reality at all. Let me guess, you probably believe that the war in Iraq has something to do with terrorism, besides being a great new recruitment tool.

Here's a history lesson.
One time a little more than a couple of hundred years ago, a group of liberals fought against an oppressive government and won. Their fight changed the world forever. The conservatives of that time were aghast at the liberals for wanting that fight, and for winning it. The conservative loyalists fought with the British against the liberal Patriots, and in the two conflicts that followed the Revolution. Later in our history the great liberal Republican Abraham Lincoln won the civil war, then when FDR switched up the conservative Democrats and turned the tables making the Republicans the conservative side and the Democrats the liberal side, he ended the depression and won WWII. Still later a conservative President made backdoor deals with Islamic extremists giving them weapons, training and equipment, in exchange for hostages and drugs, filtered the drugs into our country to buy untracable weapons to give to terrorists in Central America, is that fighting terrorism, or helping it?

If history began today, last week or billions of years ago the facts will remain the same.

Liberals are justifiably upset that it has been 5 years since the the most Catastrophic act of terrorism on US soil, yeah sure we tried to catch the man responsible for a couple month then focused all out energy trying to dismantle of government that was not linked to the attacks while Osama Bin Laden is still free and alive to devise more attacks.

The actual war on terror is being fought in Afghanistan by NATO troops.

By the way two decades ago Iraq was conisdered an ally and recieved weapons and Aid from the USA.
