why do we sometimes uncontrollably cry when we're drunk? or even just get depressed when u've been drinking, at a party for example

like this female said below my belt..alcohol is a depressant and if you get your mind thinking about things that triger your emotions, you are most ikely to over react

Drinking can lead you to euphoria and drive you out of your mind making all sorts of funny things free of inhibitions. But if you are low with intimate worries you ususally hide from others, it can have the other effect and takes you to crying.
It is up to yourself then.
