I took my g/f to the superbowl. She decided she was going to root for the colts.(we live in barrington IL) I am a bears fan, so I sorta ignored her. She kept talking about which players she thought were hot. Then she started flirting with this guy.
Was I wrong to ignore my g/f?? Should I be mad that she was innocently flirting?? Can't girls watch a sport and not talk about which players are hot??

Just because she was cheering for the colts you should of not ignore her, and just because she was saying which player was hot, so what, Its not like she was seeing them and they were there. and if you werent ignoring her she wouldn't of flirted with the other guy, if you were giving her the attention that she needed. and she probably was flirting just to get back at you for ignoring her.and I pretty sure if you were looking at magazines or seen a pretty woman on the street with her that you would say she was hot, its normal.

Maybe she was flirting with the guy because you were ignoring her. You should have considered yourself lucky she was interested enough to go so you were definitely wrong to ignore her. Now can anyone say double standard? Why is it so bad when we say a guy is hot? You men do it all of the time! Can you watch a movie or show w/o commenting on the girl in the bikini or some such thing? PLEASE! Buy her some roses or do something to make up for being an a**hole. Good luck......

For the most part the hot guys are the only reason girls watch sports at all. Yes, you were wrong to ignore her, ever hear the term "Friendly rivalry"? Yes you're wrong to be mad she innocently flirting, you admit it was innocent, what is there to be mad about?

i wouldn't be mad about her thinking the player are hot that's like her saying an actor is hot,( or you watching porn or something) she probably won't get the chance but if she was flirting with guys there i would be mad.

i don't talk about any guys being hot in front of my man cuz i think its disrepectful and the flirting thing i wouldn't even do behind my husband's back much less in his face,so I agree with you for being mad she was being disrespectful and childish.....

absolutly not...its just like..hm..if you wer at an all girls volleyball game and they wer all wearing tight tight pants and getting all sweaty...wouldnt you be a little turned on?...plus she might like the jealous type...getting you riled up might get her on too... so yea....you wer wrong..
