The lower doses of estrogen pills like loestrin 24 should be taken around the exact same time everyday or there is a chance of becoming pregnant. Higher doses of estrogen have more leeway to when you can take it

When I took them I never had a "missed pill". When I forgot to take one, I would take it as soon as possible and then I would take one every 12 hours until I got caught up. Taking more than one at a time will make you sick. If you forgot yesterday's pill take it now. Then take today's pill in 12 hours. Then you should be caught up. Make sure you take all of the pills in your pack and use another form of protection until you get caught up.

I've heard within 24 hours is safe. However I would strongly advise waiting 7 days before having unprotected sex, 7 days is more than enough time for you're body to get back on the B/C routine.

Check with your doctor as pills are all different I think depending on the level of hormone they contain. I was told 48 hours the last time I got mine, but mine is not your brand so don't take my word for it.
