You should goto http://www.youngtennis.com and take a look at what some the young players are doing now to reach the top. Make a profile and start sharing with some of the other players and coaches there. If you don't think you have the motivation and discipline to do the work that you see others doing, then you won't make it. If you do have that commitment then you will make it. Tennis has nothing to do with your current level of skill, and everything to do with your mental readiness to commit, get advice, listen to people who know more than you, and put in the work. If you are mentally ready, then you will be a great tennis player.

By the way, if you do decide that you're committed then you should ask your Dad to support you in this, because to go the distance you're going to need your parents help. so just get started, get the information you need and show your parents your commitment by going out there and doing what you can with the resources you've got now. Don't make excuses. Just do it. If your parents see this, then they will help you, and if they don't then just keep on going, and someone else will eventually help you. Just keep going and go for it with your whole, heart, body and mind, and you will achieve your goals.

You can see how good you really are by playing tournaments, and joining tennis ladders. Find a player who consistently beats you and a pro to take lessons from. When you can finally play even or beat your nemesis, you've really improved!

Get the numbers of the players you face in the tournaments that have given you a good match. Keep pushing yourself to play with better players until you're at their level.

Also, take a bucket of balls out to the tennis court by yourself, at least three times a week, and work on your serve.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you aspire to be a professional then you have a looooong road ahead of you. 99% of the professionals out there started at a very early age and have had years of coaching and training. If you are along that road then most likely, yes.
