kiss an engaged woman on the head?

Kiss on the head or hand would be exceptable. If the fiance of the engaged woman doesn't like this guy or has expressed concern over him, then a light hug might be best.

I would say it is ok, especially if he is a friend. Would you be asking the same question if the friend was female? I grew up having many male friends and today it is normal when we see one another to hug, or kiss on the cheek. However there is another person involved in this question... the man with whom you are engaged. If it does not bother him, then I would not worry about it. If it does then maybe you should talk to him and find out why, before the problem elevates. Then make your decision. I feel if you both have a solid relationship and fully trust one another, then there should be no threat there. Good Luck in getting your answer!
my parents were houseparents for a children's home... so I have many male friends.. aka brothers.. now many of us are married, we all get together with our families for dinner, and special occasions.

Yes, it is ok for a male friend to do that. It's the equivalent to being kissed on the cheek.

If it's alright for the engaged woman and she wasn't offended, then its ok.
If any person receiving any physical contact is offended and does not agree - then it's not ok.
