I recently rescued a beautiful Albino Rabbit, and although there are no differences between other rabbits. What can I do to make him feel more comfortable. He was horribly neglected, and will let me hold him, but is always breathing heavy. Any suggestions?

I recommend taking your rabbit to the vet ASAP. This is coming from a person who normally doesn't say rush it to the vet.Heavy breathing is typically a sign of pneumonia. If your rabbit has pneumonia it normally kills the rabbit in a couple days. Sometimes they will breathe hard if they have a cold or are hot. But I definitely recommend taking it to the vet.

Heavy breathing is never a good sign.

umm how do u know that he is Albino? if he is all white and has red eyes does not mean that he is Albino what so ever. it is his breed. he was bred to look like that.

to make him more confortable i would give him toys to play with. treats here and there.( not to much or u'll make him sick and u'll spoil him as well) talk soomthly and quitely to him ALL the time. even when u hold him when u feed him everything. they like soomthing voices and he'll learn to trust u more quickly.

pet him softly and make his cage comfy like u would for any other pet but don't spoil them u wouldn't spoil a kid so don't spoil ur animals. they don't need it any more than a human does.

hope i could help. take could care of him.
