I was 17 when I started. It ended up taking me 4 1/2 years to finish...don't believe the hype of only a few courses your freshman year to "ease into things". It really ended up burning me in the long run (and I found I would have had plenty of time to get more courses out of the way).

I'm 18 and I'm in my second quarter at a technical college, to get my certificate in this program, I only have 3 more courses to complete and then I will be able to get another diploma or degree in something else if I decide to, so about 2 1/2 years for me.
