people ahead of you are still grabbing things or have to go back to get something. I totally hate that.

I just hate people at grocery stores - it's that simple.

There are lots of things I hate about grocery shopping. That is one of them. Another is when I'm in the store shopping and it seems as though I'm the only one there - until I get to the check out and every cashier has at least two people in line. Where did they come from?

It is proper etiquette for the person to ask those in line if they mind waiting before they go back and grab something they forgot.I work in a grocery store and I see this happen all the time.And people get so angry.I think its funny.

Oh yeah!!!!!!!! Why is it I ALWAYS join the queue that LOOKS like it's going to be the quickest, yet as I stand there waiting.......and waiting....... I watch all the other queues go speeding through much faster and people who joined the other queues way after I did heading off out the door as I'm still waiting!! (somehow I always manage to pick the queues with these type of people you're referring to!)
so annoying!!

Really annoying but l must confess l did that a few times. lt's because l just remembered l need this item and forgot to get it.
What irritates me most is a couple arguing in line. Happened to me yesterday and they just kept on with the arguments disregarding the looks they receive.

As long as they dont make the cashier wait, then I get annoyed. I have done it myself, if something is a few steps away, and the cashier is still ringing in someone else's order. Have some patience. Im sure it doesnt happen every time.

No I am the who gets in line and it says 10 items only and I have all of 20 items and they are out of my carriage and ready to checkbecause kara didn't read the sign oops..love kara

They should give up their place in line and MOVE it! I hate that too! I also hate when people stand across from what they are looking at and expect you to say excuse me. NO, you should be closer to what you are looking at so I don't have to walk in front of you.

Ticks me off!!! Finish your shopping before you get in line people or if you forgot something go back later to get it!!
