DO NOT AVOID BEING CURIOUS!

Curious is what causes progress! Curious is what finds the hidden problems, and even the solutions! Curious is what helps.

Curiosity shows a lively mind. But if you mean excessive nosiness about other ordinary people's lives this may alter with time as such things become smaller in your view. A sure fire cure is a job in the police or with any other enforcement authority. The last thing you will want to know about in your spare time is the piffling personal affairs of ordinary people! Also worthwhile study helps.

Be patient and you will figure out what it is about. If this is in reference to asking questions about other people's conversations, simply hold your horses and tell yourself, "It's okay. I don't have to know what this is about. I'm sure I'll see in a moment." And then pay attention. The people whose conversation you stumble upon will generally give you clues about whether it is okay for you to ask questions. If they hush up or start looking a little nervous, it is better not to ask and politely leave. If they continue talking in your presence, wait a bit and join in.
