i have been listening to music online for ages... when i realised that listening music online may be illegal. I dont want to break the law...so can someone tell me if what i am doing is right or wrong?

No its not as it is not in tv and on radio but it illegal to download songs as they are pirated and official download cost you money. But listneing is not a crime there are many official sites which provide you with listening these songs but not free downloads.

It´s not illegal to listen to music online, it´s not even ilegal to download music for free, it is illegal to sell, share, or make available for download music that you do not own the copyright to.
the source of the music has to worry about all the legalities you just listen away my friend.
