No they don't, most people only see Muslim. Mainly this is because unlike Christianity the different groups are totally different. It is more than the Shia believe in Ali as the Caliph and the Sunnis Abu Bakar. The shia get their traditions from a differnent source Ali and the Sunni Aisha and Abu Hurariah.

Actually we don't care. We just want one of those traditions to be stop killing. Stop fighting and let your own people have a chance to live.
