We proudly stand for the rights of the individual to do what they wish with their bodies. Sorry we don't agree with your "I want to legislate everyone else's lives" position.
And liberals don't have "reverence" for any fundamentalist of any creed.
We also don't appreciate overgeneralizations and dramatic distortions of reality, like those present in this question. What gives, protofascist? What gives?

I am very Liberal and I don't stand up for promiscuous behavior...I will not judge a person for their beliefs, unless those beliefs are seated in hatred like it seems your position is....I am quite certain you hate Arab people more than me and could care less about their personal faith because to you they aren't Christian so are the enemy...If you would attack patriotic American Liberals...you probably aren't very amenable to any kind of understanding of people of any culture but your own little world

A feminist from the 60's made a case in point that liberals of today are afraid to offend Islam,because it's not pc and that they are afraid to criticize anyone who is not white.
As you see,criticism of other religions ,except for Islam is done all the time in film,media,art,etc. Hands off Islam though.
