When I am in e mail and go to tools and open up options what does it mean at the security section "Block images and other external content in HTML in e mail". Am not very computer literate and dont know what HTML means and should I unclick the little box ?

I would leave it ticked. Viruses can now be hidden in images, so if you got an e-mail with an image in it you don't want to display it.
E-mails from companies like Amazon are safe, but its easier to block all images.
Stick with plain text e-mails. The only way they can give your pc a virus is if you dont virus scan any attatchment and just open it.

I urge you to stop straying into areas of your PC that could create all sorts of problems for your later. Remember: if it ain't broke then don't fix it.
Incidentally, don't make the change to the image setting as I am sure you want to receive pictures in the emails you receive.

that will stop ads and banners in email, html is code for alot of things, pictures, banners just leave it alone, dont open any email from anything or anybody u dont know
