Hello

I lost my baby. I was 4w 5d so I miscarried or it was a chemical pregnancy whatever you want to call it.

I was wondering how soon after can I try to conceive? Is there an increased risk with becoming pregnant straight away?

Any information would be great.

Sarah

Most doctors say 3 cycles...but really just wait one cycle and you can try again. During that one cycle you should take all the prenatal vitamins and all so you body will be in the best place for conception.

I am sorry for you loss...I have been through a miscarriage myself. I lost the baby in October and conceived my son on Christmas Eve...so it was only 2 cycles after the m/c. He was a perfectly healthy baby. I personally believed that after having my m/c I owed it to my baby to give the "spirit" a chance to try again to join our family and am forever grateful that he is here now :) Wishing you all the best!!!

Well actually it is pretty much safe to conceive after first period, they advise you to weight at least 3 periods but I lost my baby at 6 weeks on Feb 6th and found I was pregnant again end of march. My baby boy was born dec 10th 7'13 and compleatly healthy. As long as you emotionally feel you can conceive again(i know how devistating a miscarraige can be) go for it. You had a natural miscarraige so nothing is wrong with you. Stock up on ovulation test and get busy.. GOOD LUCK.

No, it can be now not too soon. The sooner the simpler imo... Delaying getting pregnant does now not preclude anything - if she miscarries once more, she miscarries again and it's nothing to do with when she got pregnant. Some humans will miscarry several times - it's fundamental for her to maintain making an attempt on account that it is the simplest way she is ever going to get to full term. I fairly do not consider expressing your concerns re her pregnancy is ever going to be a good proposal though. Not ever. Offer her help, no longer doubt.

Well I would go with whatever your doctor suggested... but I don't see the harm in trying right away. Most likely you should wait until you have resumed your periods... because your cycle might not be regular just yet... you know?

No, it is not too quickly. the faster the extra sensible imo... Delaying getting pregnant does not stay away from something - if she miscarries lower back, she miscarries lower back and it is not something to do with while she have been given pregnant. some human beings will miscarry numerous cases - that's significant for her to maintain attempting simply by fact it is the only way she is ever going to get to finished term. i in my opinion do not think of expressing your concerns re her being pregnant is ever going to be a solid theory nevertheless. in no way. furnish her help, not doubt.

As soon as you feel strong enough to start trying. There is no increased risk that I am aware of.
