What did you think? Did you see any differences from the US version?

Yes, it was pretty much the same as the US show. The first contestant was from ALberta and he won over $100,000.00!
They had the viewer contest on mobile phone or internet,to pick one of 6 cases to win a car. 1/2 hour into the show when I tried to put my guess in for the lucky case the winner was already picked. A girl from Mississauga,Ont. I really didn't think that was fair, it shouldn't have been picked til the end of the show at least.

I did watch most of it. I think they tried too hard separating this from the American show. I knew they would never be able to exactly duplicate the NBC version, but they could have done without the large maple leaf on the stage, the Loonie and Toonie references on the cases, or the red phone (from Rogers Wireless, of course).

Other than all that, the game was played well, and I just hope this doesn't turn into a dud like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire: Canadian Edition"
