How about an evening out...dinner, maybe a movie or a play or something like that... If you don't have to worry about kids...perhaps you can get a hotel suite or something along those lines. Or do you want a gift that will last for more than one night? Is there a golf club you want (I've been informed there is a putter my boyfriend wants - his day is a month away), some sort of tool, some sports collectible thing? Beer of the month club? Tickets for an upcoming sporting event? Some car/truck accessory? Some electronics gizmo?

if you don't know how is anyone on here supposed to know?
most if not all of us will not know you personally.
you have to think about what is important to you. and if you do not really want a material gift then tel your wife that.
if you love your wife aas i'm sure you do, just say to her you have everything you want. but if she is willing would she cook your favourite meal and then you have her for desert.
just a suggestion.
or what ever else you want. it is your life, only you know what is important to you and what gadgets etc you would like but do not have.
and if she gets you something just be happy with whatever she gets you.
good luck, and have a great birthday!

Depends on your budget too!
* a footie season ticket
* a men's mag subscription (I mean like Men's Health etc ..or not)! (or even to a satellite channel??*** - you know the ones I mean)
* an "experience" like driving a racing car/hang-gliding, go-karting, flying lesson etc
* any technical gadgets you like (camera, digital keyring, ipod)
* electric shaver
* a night out anywhere you please, cinema, dinner, casino,
* clothes?
Try to think of things your mates have got that you've admired and that might give you an idea.
AND when you decide, can you let me know please cos it's my hubby's 40th in 3 weeks and he doesn't know what he wants either! You men...!!!!

Like someone else said, ask for a threesome or, if she says no (as she probably will), something else particularly kinky. Have her make the night perfect for you; she might dress up as something a bit pervy. Whatever floats your boat.
After all, do you really need another gadget or more socks?

When it was my sons 40th Birthday last year, my husband and I treated him to a Helicopter ride over London. Both my son and daughter-in-law enjoyed every moment.

I asked for a good quality framed map of Japan, and got it!
I'm not suggesting you get that, but have you thought about a picture you may like, or a piece of art that has caught your inyerest?
