Big choke. And his team helped him seal the loss.

Did you know he got a $1MIL bonus in spite of the loss?

Rex Grossman is NOT a choke, sorry people. Look I'm no fan of his but, I will defend him. Let us not forget Rex has only ONE full season under his belt. Most of his young career has been watching from the sideline, nothing prepares you for the NFL like PLAYING in the NFL. He's still very young and can almost be thought of as practically a rookie, for a rookie to take his team to the Super Bowl is great regardless of the circumstances around him. He'll grow and get better don't know if he'll get back to the big game however with the NFC shaping up to be very competitive next season (unlike this year). So no I don't think he choked he played like an inexperienced quarterback much like the "holy" Peyton Manning in his first few playoff experiences.

I'm not a Bears fan but will defend Rex. He was trying to get something going and the colts were on top of the play. Everyone pins Rex as the Bears reason for loosing and the fact is the team lost as a whole, the qb is only as good as his offense line, so the receiver needs to get open or the coach tells him he better run the play as is so he does and the ball is intercepted, The Whole Bears Team Lost The Game including the Coaching Staff

Its not that he choked, he is just not a superbowl calibur QB. Neither are the Bears. Both Philly and Dallas and probably even the Saints would have given Indy a better game because they have QB's that could have kept them in the game at all times. As soon as Chicago fell behind you could kinda sense it was all over because you knoew gossman was not going to be able to lead them back

I am glad the Colts won, but you can't blame the Bears lose all on Rex Grossman. He played pretty much like he's played all year. So in my opinion the Bears got a performance from him like he normally gives. If you need to blame somebody onthe Bears team, blame Lovie Smith for not benching Grossman in the 3rd quarter.

I don't think any QB could have done much with the Colts defense last night. It was their time to win. Grossman did alright for me in fantasy football this year

I thought he was a chickensh!t when he was running around looking to get rid of the ball like it was a hot potato---he had two blockers in front of him and the wussy could've run the ball to first down.....BUT Noooooo, he had to bobble it to someone and lost the play.
Any other QB would've ran.
Rex, if you're reading this--stop saying "but I'm a first year QB"--you've played football for 20 years boy, this ain't your first game.

One of those interceptions would've been a touchdown had he made a decent pass. But, it was underthrown for an interception. He is so bad. I can't believe the Bears made it to the Superbowl with him as QB.

i dont think he choked it was pouring and one of the picks his recievers could have helped more, but he also put the ball on point a few times and his recievers dropped the ball, but everyone will look at his numbers and say he choked, however he did fairly well just not well enough
