Whenever I plug my AC charger to my laptop, it doesn't charge. The light on the charger is on, and I made sure to push in all the plugs. I had my laptop and charger for about 4 years. So any suggestions.

Your battery is dead. Look for a replacement battery on eBay.

Rechargeable batteries only last for so long, and 4 years is probably the upper end of the lifespan.

If you remove the battery, does the laptop run off of AC? Does the AC Adapter plug fit snugly into the connector? If not, the connector for the AC charger is probably loose. Unfortunately, on most laptops this means replacing the whole motherboard. If you CAN run on AC but not on battery, it may just be a dead battery, or the contacts on the battery or on the motherboard that it connects to may be dirty. If the battery is okay and the contacts are good, it may be a mobo problem. Try to get another battery and see if that solves the problem.
