I check all six fire alarms every month. I also put a new battery
in one each month. I even put one up next to the Christmas tree
each year. Better safe than sorry.

The battery's still there but the fire alarm has gone.
Silly me it must have been nicked cause I'd forgotten the batteries for the burglar alarm!

I don't have a fire alarm. I'd go and check the battery if I did.
