The tank appears to be leaking from the bottom, can't tell for sure. Any suggestions I can do will be helpful. can't afford a new one or the plumber.

First thing you can try is check the tightness of the tank bolts that hold the tank to the bowl. Gently try to tighten them down, but don't put too much pressure on them or you'll crack the porcelain . You can also go to the hardware store and get a new gasket for the tank to the bowl and replace it. I'd go ahead and get new tank hold down bolts too if you go this way.

dry area well with towels, get flashlight and watch for where water is leaking. there are only four places... the place where the water enters the tank, where it exits the tank (to bowl), and the two bolts holding it on. the bolts can be tighted slightly if needed, so can the inlet connection, but if it is tank to bowl you will probably have to remove tank and replace seal, this is common if the bolts were not secured well. People leaning back while using the commode will cause this to leak.

They sell rebuild kits at about any hardware store. They include all new seals for a toilet and don`t cost much.
