She actually should be happy for you and herself
there are people that do not have roof over their heads
or a computer to write these questions and answers
or bed to sleep in or they beg for real for food
everyone that has their own should be thankful..
What God giveth he will take away believe been there
and thought everyone was jealous and actually
reveled in it I learned the hard way and now I have again
and yes I share and do not flaunt because I know nothing is
promised in this world..Talk to your friend and ask
her (her) true feelings about this and show her she could
be worse....Material things are just that....

For one thing, friends are not jealous. Instead they are happy for you. Your friend probably is not jealous so to speak. But is depressed and on a pity party because she doesn't have as much as you. Deep down inside she most likely is happy for you and feels you are the luckiest person in the whole wide world. For some people it is their nature to be depressed easily. It would be nice maybe if instead of offering to give her what you already have, which makes her feel more depressed because you are willing to give her your "Hand Me Downs", you could buy her little gifts now and then that you know she could use. A "Just Because" gift is always nice from a friend and treasured. It doesn't have to be anything expensive or out of your budget. Just something nice and thoughtful. Good luck. I hope your friendship grows and continues for the rest of your lives. We all need friends. A friend can be closer than a sister.

There's not really much you can do to help her. She seems to be insecure about herself, and she would just have to overcome them herself. It's sad that after 3 years she's still the same way. If it was me I would have a long talk with her and be like if she doesn't stop it that it could cost your friendship .Well, hope she gets over it. Good luck!

I think friends should be happy for one another and support each other. Your friend is very childish and immature. She should be lucky to have a house, not many people can say that. I wouldn't give her anything and when she is over try to change the subject when she brings up her situation. She sounds like a complete downer! Who wants to be around that?

the answer to all questions, bring it out in the open and tell her how you feel, not just by telling her that she can take anything she likes, but by you feeling bad every time she says something..
you know there are less fortunate and more fortunate people in the world, we just learn to be content with what we have, aspire to get more, but not kill ourselves in the process. life is too short
