Turn off System Restore, then do the virus and spyware scans in Safe Mode, then reboot into regular mode and turn System Restore back on. If the tools you have don't remove it, try smitfraudfix, a free tool for this sort of virus.

Switch off System Restore as back up files are be hiding in there, and the Zlob trojan is re-installing itself.
Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.
Then install some additional anti spyware because it shouldn't have been able to get on your pc in the first place.
http://www.safer-networking.org - Spybot Search and Destroy anti spyware. Use the Teatimer settings to protect Internet Explorer, and the Immuniser to stop malware getting on your pc.
Spywareblaster works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. It won't uninstall spyware that is already on your pc, but it will prevent hijacks and other malicious changes to your browser.

And these are useful utilities;

Winpatrol is a handy utility that manages cookies on your pc and stops unwanted changes to your startup folder.

Use Firefox for general web browsing and just use IE7 for when you need to.

AntiVermins is a rogue spyware program that you probably picked up while installing a video codec or some other piece of software on your computer.
Removal is best achieved by using a commerical-grade spyware scanner. I got hit by this garbage recently, and followed the instructions on this website to remove it.

XoftSpySE worked well and also found a lot of other trash on my PC. Once I ran the scan and removed what it found, my PC was back to its old snappy self.
Good Luck!

I had the exact same thing two days ago. I downloaded the Smitfraud fix (as listed above by others) and that got rid of part of it. Do you have Windows Defender? If so, while your computer reboots keep tapping the F8 key until it gives you an option for using SAFE MODE (not the one associated with networking!). Once your in the safe mode - keep running Windows Defender until it will actually remove it. I tried a ton and this is what FINALLY worked. Good luck dude.

Do the Virus and spyware checks in Safemode as it makes it harder for viruses to get a foothold and to stop themselves deletig so to speak. Also try free 60 day trial AVAST anti virus. i've just started using it and its very good.
