It's not about God. It's about what children are exposed to on television, in movies, and especially on the internet. They are dealing with adult issues before they should have to and they are being robbed of their childhoods. They are therefore dealing with emotions that are not appropriate for their age, and they are hardly mature enough to know how to express those emotions, so they act in viciously inappropriate ways. I agree with you, I think it is getting worse. We live in a very selfish time, and the models for our children are very selfish people (including parents). Selfishness leads to ugliness.

because the children of today no longer have parents, they have mates, mums and dads that dress and act like teenagers giving children a whole new way of rebelling, they now have to be really, really bad to rebel, to rebel a few decades ago you just had to speak out of turn or get caught wiping your nose on a sleeve, now parents are just big kids, going out getting leggless having parties not really setting a good example.
i do bar work and i am appalled by the level of parents that will come in get out of their faces whilst their child sits there bored to tears and then has to assit their own parent home because they are too drunk to do otherwise.
parents seem to also have lost the ability to control there children, you can no longer give your child a smack on the bum, it's quite alright for the child to turn a round a slap their parents but if a parent hits a child it is abuse. in a lot of cases the child gets more attention being naughty than if they do anything good, so they have no reason to be anything other than naughty.

and yes i do believe that god does kinda come into it, i have always belived that religion is control, they made religion to control people if you do this....... you will go to HELL, it's a scare tactic, now not many people belive in hell so whats there to be afraid of.

Unlike back in the 1950s where families were more secure, today's generation are more liberated. Today people don't look down on you because you live with your boyfriend and be common law marriage or they don't look down on you because you bear children out of wedlock, people find it normal.
More and more couples cheat on their significant other and/or each other because of their addictions
And because of this they bear children and they grow up to be the same example of their parents. Also, if a child lives with a single parent, they are prone to be rebellious individuals.

Because systematically, step by step, God is being taken out of everything - out of the home, out of the schools, out of the public, out of even Christmas, for Gods sake.
What do you expect?
People in this generation had better wake the hell up.
