There are many ways to convert heat into other form of energy:

1. In a boiler, you use heat to boil water and produce steam. Wen this happens, the heat energy is converted into potential energy, which you use to run a steam engine.

2. In a light bulb, electrical energy produces heat. Heat, in turn, makes the filament to glow, and gets converted into light, which is another form of energy.

3.If you take a thermopile (thermocouples or junctions of two dissimilar metals connected in series), and apply heat to one set of junctions, an electrical voltage will be generated across the hot and cold junctions. This is called Seebeck effect. This is direct conversion of heat into electricity.

very vague and general question. however heat energy can be converted in to mechanical energy like generating electricity (electrical energy) by passing the heat through a steam chamber and generating the steam them steam passes through the turbine, then turbine connected with a generator.

hope this would be good and relevent example.

visit a power plant, there you will find the answer in reality

Just burning the heat energy getting desipated, we are directly using heat energy for cooking, we are using heat energy in IC engines, for producing power, solar energy(heat energy) we are consuming it and lots more but with out any loss you cant do nothing

Convert it to steam by heating water with it, then concentrate the steam in a pipe and direct it toward the machine (which has a steam engine) that needs to do the work. Clearly, this is how electricity is created by man for home and business use: heat makes water steam makes magnetic turbines spin makes electrons eject, makes electrical current makes my computer work so I can write this to you.
