my 6oyfriend is serving a likely 5 years in prison... I want to stay with him. Logically it makes more sense to leave him, but i do love him and my heart tells me to wait for him. I know I'm capable of staying faithful. obviously its a matter of opinion but what should I do?

LEAVE HIM
HE WILL PROBABLY GO TO PRISON AGAIN

What you should do logically doesn't always go with what your heart says. Ask yourself will he change when he is out or is he liking to do something to get banged up again.
If it were me I would leave, as I wouldn't know how my feelings were going to be in a couple of years and he will get jealous hearing about your life outside and that's an awful lot of pressure on yourself.

For me it would depend on what he has done to be put in there.
I think in about a year, you will find it isn't worth wasting you life waiting for him to get out and the possibility of him being a repeat offender.
Good Luck.

It depends - if he's in for violence, I'd think very carefully!
Otherwise, take each day as it comes. You might think differently this time next year.

Obviously, you'll just find someone else just like him so yeah, why not just stick with HIM?
