Most clothing, whether it be male or female, performs no particular function that is particular to either sex. The main exception being the humble bra which has an obvious job. Stillettos are perceived as feminine but there is no actual need for them to be female as such. They don't make you any more of a woman than you are. In my case they don't make me a woman at all but nobody discriminates against a 6'1" tranny in killer heels. Not without a fight, grrrr!

It's true in the USA, but not everywhere else.
In general American society holds that the only significant difference between males and females is social rather than physical. Women are deemed to have been downtrodden for centuries and therefore reaching equality means adopting male norms and practices. Hence the tendency to adopt male clothes.
On the other hand a male wearing female clothes is deemed to be moving down the ladder and no-one should want to do that, so he is reckoned as mad.

same reason why men are allowed to sleep around and women are not. double standard. Also I think most women who dress manly just see clothes as, well, something to wear. where as a guy dressing female suggests that they enjoy it either in a sexual way or because they want to feel feminine, but I don't think very many women who dress like men do it to feel like men. I am not saying this is the case in every situation. It's the stigma attached to the underlying reasons for why a man would want to wear womens clothes, I say 'live and let live', 'each to their own' and so on...

Because men's clothes can go either way. They're not really tailored specifically to their shapes like women's clothing is and the styles are pretty basic so they can be worn by anyone.
I don't know of any guys that crossdress or wear stilletos and if I did I probably would hope that they're doing it for a joke. And now-a-days guys do wear girls clothing. The pants and shirts with that stupid "scene" look, and not all of them get discriminated for it. It's when you go to far that people will start to talk. For example...do you know any women that wear a jock strap when they play sports? Stilletos are about as feminine as you can get and a jock strap is about as masculine as you can get because to wear one and need to wear one you must have had surgery.

it is no longer unlawful, yet you could capture a great number of warm temperature for it. I used to positioned on a kilt in public (i'm of Irish descent). many human beings yelled at me it truly is change right into a skirt and threw rocks at me (toddlers rather did this). women human beings on the different hand looked as if it would have an interest and one (a appealing stranger) walked precise as a lot as me and requested, "Are you wearing undies?" i change into flabbergasted. If I did that to a lady, i should be arrested for lewd and lascivious habit. human beings can get very extraordinary over clothing.

I feel the same way. Men AREN'T allowed to dress in much. When I was in New York, I often walked through Macy's. To get to the cafe, I had to walk through the woman's department. I got glares from others and I wasn't even buying the clothes. Yet, in the men's department, there were many woman. Hm?

I'm thinking you may get away with stilleto boots. What you won't get away with is nylons with pumps.
