I've asked some questions that where only two paragraphs long....I try not to make it too long though, for I know the majority of people in this country get impatient with things that aren't geared towards fun.

Even at two paragraphs, some have even said in their answer that they didn't feel like reading it all....what does this say? Because it was once a time where I would have been killed for having a book in my hand, I intend to use my right to read and write to the fullest extent, often in regards to thoughtful questions, with the occasional silly one.

If you have made it this far in the reading of this question, thank you. Do you agree with me?

Aaron

I did. And I agree. Use your rights. Write long if you want. But most people won't read it. Alas.

But look at it this way. At least you know what a paragraph is and punctuation. Plus you can spell!

Yes I have to agree that people have lost a lot of interest in reading a paragraph let alone a sentence especially if they're in a hurry to answer as many questions as they can in a day which I think is absolutely ridiculous because answering a question should take some time and thought process before submitting it for the whole world to read if people still do actually read unless all the people on Yahoo! Answers are just a bunch of fruits in the thoots if you know what I mean by saying it and I don't mean to offend anyone but I'm just stating what is on my mind that does not reflect on anything really so you should not be offended and if you do then you are really veggy on the tops there again I'd like to say that this is just an opinion so please just laugh at it and go on with your day like I never said anything but don't think I'm not being serious here because I truly want to express my opinion on this in regards to people not having the time to read anymore which is a very sad thing for the next generation to grasp for what they do not learn they will not do and it will keep going on like that until someone takes the initiative to stop the cycle by being the bigger person and start taking the time to read but ofcourse maybe the world has a lot of better things to do like save this planet for one that is being destroyed by gases that are polluting the air which is very preventable for that matter people could get up their lazy butts and walk that mile to work or to the store like I do you would never catch me riding a car because I don't have one and also I can't afford a taxi so I just walk my butt off to the store even if I have to carry a ton of groceries back on my own I will do it because I care so much for the world and hopefully I am helping it by that much difference even though it is so little I think that I'm giving the world at least a whole extra minute to live.

I don't feel like reading 2 paragraphs. . . Just Kidding : )

I read the questions 'cause I try to pick questions that interest me. I did an expirement on how many people would read what I wrote. I made it really long and I actually got a lot of answers, but some people just said 'Way Too Long 2 Read'

Yes, I agree. I love reading, so I dont mind reading long questions.

I think that some people will read a question (could be a few pages) that is funny or disgusting or whatever the case may be, as long as it is entertaining for them. But when it comes to things that does not interest them, they would much rather scan through the question or not even answer at all. Everyone has their own interests. Some people like to read, some love to read and then others hate to read.

Yes, I completely agree. I had problems in high school with other kids who made fun of me for being different since I liked to read so much. I will never take the ability for granted.

Yes I see your point. A lot of the "power Answerers" just want to wiz through the questions, and accumulate points as quickly as possible...so they will shy away from questions that have paragraphs in them.
