I think conservative coaching came into play the bears were to scared of the big play. Indy just nickel and dimed them up and down the field. I also think Rex is overrated he's good but not that good just another Florida flop. Luck can only take you so far. Bears future? The need a franchise QB, they have what it take on defense and have a serviceable offense but they need a leader behind the center. At this point grossman is nothing better than backup QB. Sorry if this make bears fans mad but grossman doesn't have the leadership qualities it takes now in the NFL. Next season with a leader the bears could go all the way. Bright side there will be some good leaders up for grabs in the off season so lets go shopping.

They simply made the mistake to stay in their usual Cover 2 defense AND drop linebackers into coverage, leaving only corners and ends and occasionally Urlacher to blitz. Problem is, underneath routes such as flats, flares, and screens are almost always wide open due to the fact that the linebackers that were NOT blitzing had to make up 10-15 yards of ground on every play that Manning threw to a RB or TE, thus ensuring moderate gains on every pass play. The Bears tried hard, they simply didn't execute well enough and to an extent, got outcoached.

Yes, our Bears, the team that smashed mouths, *did not show up*. It started from the coaching: bad play-calling (stick to the run when you have the lead), no preparation or adjustments to Colts run game. Defense? Didn't blitz Manning often enough. Rex? High school QBs are taught to take the snap first, *then* move.

Colts get crowned because Bears played like chumps.

I think they have a great defense but they got tired and didn't have the offense to help out when they got tired. You could tell a couple of minutes before half time the defense started tiring out and there defense is everything. The Colts offense will just keep coming at you so you can't get tired. Just My opinion

I was surprised as how the Bears where physically dominated on the line of scrimmage. The Colts offensive line turned in one of the most dominate performances in a Super Bowl.

They could generate no Offense, forcing the Defense on the field almost the whole game. The Defense got tired and Grossman was well.....Grossman.

My advice is that they got beat by a better team. Yea, they tried hard and all that stuff, but it wasnt good enough for Super Manning!

First, if you mean TRIED, then you aren't a football fan. There is no doubt they wanted to win and TRIED their best. They came up short, but they wanted the ring. These are pros and they play to WIN.
