Skiing/Snowboarding at Mall of the Emirates is great fun and pretty cheap with all equipment supplied.

Desert Safari which includes dune bashing in 4x4s, a camel ride and a traditional Bedouin BBQ

Wild Wadi water park, right next door to Jumeirah beach hotel.

Night life and restaurants are excellent with all tastes catered for.

I would advise buying a book called "The Entertainer" when you arrive. It is available in any "Spinney's" which is a supermarket. In it you will find vouchers for half price meals, drinks and the above activities. I got one a few weeks ago and it's already saved me a fortune.

PS, hope you like it hot....it gets up to 50 degrees in June!!!

Hope you have a great time

Most of the bulk holiday companies like Thomson have not got past Sharm el Sheik yet. Try Emirates airlines, they can do a flight and hotel deal. I'd go to Jordan rather than Saudi Arabia. You need a visa to get into most Middle East countries except UAE (Dubai) and Jordan (buy it on arrival).

Dubai is a lovely place! I've been there twice and i absolutely loved it!

Make sure you check out the seven star hotel, its magnificent. You can also go sand duning in the desert, take a boat cruise in the evening and visit numerous shopping centres!!

Also make sure u visit the famous waterpark Wild Wadi, and the emirates shopping centre which has a constant snow theme!!

Must visit places are the fish market, the gold souk, of course the creek. If you like spicy food, the chicken 65 is absolute ly DELICIOUS from Indian restaurants. Don't forget the shawarmas (something like a rolled pancake with meat) and the freshly pressed orange or promogranite juices. Take a taxi (be sure to bargain) to Sharjah's souk and buy tons of silver and souvenirs. Cheap shopping? Try Karama.

I lived out there for 6 months, and loved it. You could spend a day looking at the architecture, or the water park. I hear there is also a in door ski slope somewhere out there. You could go sand surfing, ride camels all kinds of things. Plus the night life ricks out there. There is a bar called Waxy O' Conners and either wed or thurs they have vodka drink specials.

im from UAE and it would be better if u came now cause of the shopping vestival, and u could visit the global village its amazing!
and the weather now is nice

in june it'll be a bit hot, specially if u live in a cool place usually, but u could still enjoy the in door skiing and the "Wild Wady" water park and hmm oh yeah dont 4get to go shopping! shopping is great in Dubai! sepcially if you want to buy gold or diamonds prices here are cheap comparing to prices in america, go to "Ibn Batuta" mall or "Emirates mall" you'll find great stuff im sure =)
and you could come to Sharjah too prices here are even cheaper! you could go the the Mega mall or Sahara center

and you'll find great resturants here too and you might be familiar with some, but i idvise you to go to a lebanese or and irani resturant usually they r great!
but if you want a real taste then go to any cafetiria and order "Hasn Mutar" sandwich weird name but great tase! lol
and dont 4get the indian Karak tea =D

enjoy ur stay ^_^
