New Orleans for example. Thoses folks could sure use some money to help rebuild their homes since the govt is 2 busy spending money in Iraq. Or what about other national stuff the country could benifit from,like the border fence, or ANYTHING that could help! It's not like he can't afford it, the guy has enough money to do it dozens of times if he wanted 2. So why doesent Bill Gates help with his money?

he does help those in need. I know at least Washington state public schools have benefited from donation of computers and software, as well as colleges. He also donates to other causes, and I am sure he has sent some money towards Katrina victims, some of them live up here in WA state. In fact there is a restaurant in my area that is the best Cajun food I have ever had and the owner/chef is a displaced Katrina victim. SO I think you are barking up the wrong tree. Complain to the government seriously.

Bill Gates and his wife have formed a charitable foundation that donates millions of dollars each year to charity. They are not responsible for saving the whole world and are doing their bit. If we all did the same in our local area and within our means, imagine what a better place the world would be.

he does. ever heard about the "Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation"? they donate billions of dollars to needed people. he is probably one of the few not-so-proud rich guys... and lots of ppl owe a lot to him. still, gvt SHOULD be the one not spending the money in iraq and wars. people cant depend on bill gates forever.. your govt should be more responsible about it.. (not necesarily about needed people in other countries, but taking care of your own country!).
