close one eye and open the other one. gently dab your stick into the eye shadow and carfully apply it on. Try don't to put too much eye shadow or you'll look like a freak. just a light coat. Also if you want to bring out your eye lids put some slighty dark eye shadow on you.

You should start by applying a little base to your eyelid, it will help keep the shadow on longer. Next, apply a lighter shade over the entire eyelid, like a soft light pink, then take a slightly darker shade and apply it in the crease of the eyelid starting on the inside working your way to the out side. Once you have it the way you want it take a soft brush and brush over the whole lid gently a couple of times to help blend the shadow better. Finally take a type of shimmer white, or something else close to that color and apply it to your lid just below the brow bone, this will brighten and open up your eyes more. Good Luck

Use a proper eye shadow brush, so you can sweep the powder over the lids. A good quality brush is soft but not flimsy for this delicate area. For washing these brushes soak in warm soapy water, but don't scrub to hard as you will loosen the the tip.

nicely put 1 color on your eyelide or put 2-4 colors on in streaks lightest to darkest (starting at the top) then take a blush brush and blend.
