What would be a good length for a skirt for a 50 year old man?
Who has good looking legs. Also pantyhose, tights, or stockings ?

No one 50 has that great a legs hon, sorry. However, don't let that get in your way. It depends on where you are going, if you are going to a bar or party, a couple of inch's above your knee is great. If daywear, then right above or below your knee is appropriate, or longer if you are wearing boots. Pantyhose with a shorter shirt (unless you are trying to get a rise out of someone), is more modest, tights or pantyhose for daywear. Stockings look best with a longer skirt with a slit up the side or the back so that you can see the garter and stocking top, very sexy.
The biggest mistake crossdressers make is trying to pass for younger than they are. You are 50 not 25, I would spend some time seeing what nice looking 50yr old women are wearing and go for that. If you have great looking legs, then 2" above the knee for the warm months. And to cover the legs, I love pantyhose. They are not as bad as some make them out to be.

INCORRECT !!!!! You are sooooooo wrong Best Answerer !!! I have gotten ALL -- that is to say 100% -- awesome reviews on my legs and I am over 50 so your logic is based on your perception of reality not the rest of the world's REAL reality !!!
Just because someone is older than you does NOT mean they cannot look as good and even way better than you do. So far, knock on wood, every single woman I've ever met who sees my legs in hose and who vary along the spectrum of adult ages from 21 to 70 say the exact same thing every time they see me -- "Your legs are very beautiful and sexy !!!"

Below the knee. Above maybe but it depends what your knees are like. Pantyhose all the way.

the length of skirt for a 50year woman should be long. Because, At this age she is married. And responsible female who does not want to showcase her features should use something that covers her body, not to wear something that her underwear will be showing to the world.
a person with fine legs should wear cooperate dressing.

Length is negotiable....fishnet stockings are in and so are side splits in the skirt...(pssst....make sure you shave your legs before going out, trapped hair in fishnet can be a real *****)!!..haha

Depending on their condition (same as for women) either just above or just below your knees. Tights are easier to hold up and (presumably) you could use the gusset to help you hide the bulge.
