I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THIS STUFF BUT IM SICK OF BUYING MYSELF THE SAME DVD OVER AND OVER BECAUSE I ALWAYS LOSE THEM!!!! SO MAKING COPIS WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA!!! PLEASE NO BULLCRAP ANSWERS PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU WHOEVER TAKES THE TIME TO BREAK IT DOWN FOR ME

as far as i know there arent any free programs that can allow you to do this. you will need dvdshrink in combination with anydvd . anydvd runs in the background and automatically removes the protection . you still wont be able to backup all dvds this way you can use dvdclone to do the rest. but all of these programs have to be purchased. there arent really any step by step instructions you just have to figure it out. copying dvds is illegal and i dont recommend doing so. good luck

all you really need is dvd shrink (to rip the movie off the dvd and compress the data to fit on a single layer dvd, and nero. If you have nero, you can actually burn it in dvd shrink all in one step (it uses the nero burning engine in the dvd shrink program)

thats all you really need to get started...like someone said before, anydvd works great for removing copy protection

also I assume you know this, but you need a DVD-RW drive

you can either put them in a fire - burns v well :)

OR you can download a program called clone dvd - i cant go into detail of how to use it but it is very easy
