SECULAR is used to describe something which has no connection with religion or churches.
Example : The choir sings both sacred and secular music.

It must be a variaton of Secular, which means non-religious.
eg a priest who belongs to the diocese rather than a religious order..
Non-ordained church workers such as catechists and all the lay people in general.

Worldly as opposed to religious. Creationism would be a religious viewpoint and evolution would be a secular viewpoint.
