Next Superpower is the Europoean Union and it doesnt even need to be one nation. Each country can still keep its national identity but on things that effect the entire world and Europe itself they will all have a say with a majority leader elected to oversee everything. It will be the most powerful superpower the world has ever seen, so much so China and India will look like the Caribean in terms of power. LOL

i imagine which will ensue supplied that Britain stops attempting to tap dance down the middle of the Atlantic and really will change right into a authentic member of the european. And even if that occurs relies upon on which the city prefers - to be a disrespected and ruled junior better 1/2 to Wall highway (inspite of economic power), or an equivalent coworker with Frankfort and the Paris bourse. Oh, and that i heartily recommend a stricter, extra federalized equipment, and a pan-eu defense force. because if history is any handbook, in case you change right into a intense probability to my bosses' international dominance, you'd be wanting a unified defense force to strive against off a U.S. attack. And no count number what, the european gained't get the more effective than 1/2-a-century on proper that the U.S. did (1945-2001). because China will shoulder you aside in about 10-15 years. .

China since they have everything else except nuclear power, and real navy fleet to become one, and they are in process of doing so. They have acquired steel and shipping companies in Australia, UK, Canada. They have made a pledge to Iran with 16 million to help them with nuclear plants, and another 18 million with Kenya, (largest copper producing country.)
The reason it won't be India is because India has a history of projecting just enough military might to stand stronger then Pakistan, and have no active movements or actions in favor to accumulating more military might.

not india or china. technology will be the king especially communication tech and space tech.
the US and europe will always be ahead in these two areas, so they will be always superpowers.
china does not have democracy and we have over 500 million starving poor divided permanently on the basis of caste and religion. so where is the question of we becoming super powers. first eliminate hunger, poverty and caste and then think of becoming something.
