I to have stretch marks from the births of my kids. There is nothing you can put on your tummy to get rid of them because once they have stretched they aren't going to go back to your before pregnancy look. Think of them as your "Badge of Honor" and don't worry about them. You could consider having plastic surgery to remove them but they will never be gone 100% no matter what you do. You can go talk to someone about removal but that cost to me isn't worth the results...............

Unfortunately, stretch marks never completely go away, but they do fade and lighten over time. I've heard that Vitamin E (the capsules the other responder mentioned) and cocoa butter applied topically help. I'm sure there are products marketed by more high-end cosmetics company, but I doubt the results are worth what you pay.
If you plan to get pregnant again, I've heard that you can rub cocoa butter on your tummy (and elsewhere) to prevent stretch marks and that it's safe. Search "cocoa butter" on drugstore.com and you'll find the Palmer's line, which is cheap and you can find everywhere. Don't know if Vit E is safe during pregnancy, but I would not be surprised if it wasn't. Congrats on the baby!

Stretch marks are like a set of luggage- you're never going to get rid of them. They're scar tissue caused by overstretching the skin past it's limits. Just like a visible scar you can lessen their appearance by applying Vitamin E. Not a lotion with Vitamin E mind you, but rather the liquid inside the capsules that one would normally swallow. These can be found in any vitamin section. Other people think that tanning will help hide them. You have to understand that these marks are scar tissue. It doesn't behave like regular tissue. If you go tanning all you're really going to do is make these marks much more prominent due to the fact that they will not tan.

Don't be bother of the stretch marks on your abdomen. Actually, this is just a normal process of being pregnant. It is in linear form and sometimes spider-like web-form lines. There is nothing abnormal in this. Most of the women who have been pregnant have experienced this type of occurrences. In medical terminology, it is called straie gravidarum. It is linked genetically and also depends on the size of your abdomen when you were pregnant of your baby. It is the dilated and expanded portion of your skin.
If I were you, just accept it because that's just normal. Good day!

It is not the sign of motherhood!!! It is the sign that the person is getting bigger (fat). I think you need to go and see those skin doctor, it is nothing serious. Or it will faded on its own as year goes by but that would take too long.

They bother women a lot more than they bother guys. Infact they don't even really bother me. They're a sign of woman/motherhood. I would rub some of my own special cream on them. :-P
