Upon their dramatic western expansion, what prevented the Mongols from continuing on and conquering Europe?

in 1241 the Mongols may have been ready to invade western Europe as well, (after the fall of the last Polish-German and Hungarian armies). However ogedei khans(genghis khan's third son) death prevented any invasion as attentions to the election of the next great Khan.
It is often speculated that this was one of the great turning points in history and that Europe may well have fallen to the Mongols had the invasion gone ahead.

In 1241 mongols came to Europe and they robbed all of the Balkans,but they had a great empire in Asia so they didn't had concurring tensions toward Europe.

Well, they did! The descendence of Gengis Khan spread so widely in Europe and Asia, today almost thirty percent of Humanity has Mongol blood.

I believe they reached eastern europe and would have taken all of europe but genghis khan died before it could be accomplished. And like Alexander the Great, his empire fragmented after that.
