Firstly, I don't know why this question is under computer networking. As Mybrid is one of the auto industries new buzz words.

Mybrid is an unofficial contraction of "Mild Hybrid". As I have already said, it is an automotive term that refers to cars that have partial hybrid drive systems. Instead of having a full electric drive motor coupled to a petrol engine (Hybrid). It has what can only be described as an enlarged stater-motor. This allows the petrol motor to be switched down or off when cruising. It also aids acceleration.

However, if you have been looking at hybrids or mybrids as a way of cutting your carbon footprint, look at the CO2 outputs and the mpg. Many of these GREEN vehicles can be more polluting than smaller engined alternatives.
