Pro"lifers" claim it is a black and white issue and that killing is killing yet they support war. When people go to war it is a GIVEN that MANY innocent children/adults will die,so you cant call them accidents. So, if killing is killing, what is the difference?

For those saying war is necessary...It's STILL killing right?
What makes your existence more important than an Iraqi baby's existence?

The entire pro-life argument is pathetic. We can end abortion, but to do so through the courts is so spineless and apathetic. They care more about saving lives than making lives worth living.

Actually, I don't think most "pro lifers" would agree with you that all "killing is killing." I think most would agree that sometimes taking a life is justified and sometimes it is not. Certainly most people in the world have a major beef with "needless" killing. But the lines start to blur when it comes to abortion, the death penalty, war, etc.. I guess it's all where you, personally, draw the line. I'm pro-life because I think everyone deserves a chance to live and decide their own fate. Unfortunately, in the event of war, that isn't always possible. But sometimes in war (I'm not saying that's the case with this war, because I don't know that it is) the loss of some innocent lives means saving many more innocent lives. It is my understanding that our military takes every precaution to avoid killing civilians. But with abortion, the actual INTENT is to take the child's life. There is a HUGE difference between death as a casualty of war and the planned, calculated death of an innocent baby.

exciting assessment, one the youngster has no say. the different has the potential to connect up the dotted line for lively accountability. conflict isn't a picnic or a gala affair. If all of us had a Utopian society there may be no choose for conflict. Love, mercy and brotherhood is all lacking international extensive. i might additionally prefer to function the country troops did no longer kill 151 people in Iraq on the instant yet a suicide bomber did. Now i would not assume you've got the respond a thank you to provide up those people, might you?

Abortion for medical reasons could not be avoided in most case since the mother would have adverse effects on her health or possibly die.
Killing Iraqi children/adults as part of collateral damage happened and is happening in vain since there were no WMDs or a connection to 911.

There is many legitimate reasons for abortions, but it is by individual choice and their souls will pay for their intentional actions. The courts has approved it, congress has passed it, what else can you do?
War on the other hand are there to protect you and me from invading countries, that sees the US as a prime place to get rich and prosper by taking it over. The people of the US could have been talking other languages today if it wasn't for war and its catastrophic results..
So, I see no comparison in your conjecture, sir.

The only way that nobody dies in war is if you let evil take over the Earth without firing a shot. But I make no promises on what evil would do at that point.

The abortion issue can wait until the battle is over. After that, all those who survive will live, even into the womb.
