Need to know what i'm looking for because its all covered in snow. Any ideas?

I am not 100% sure with the Envoy and am not at work to double check... but most SUV's keep the spare tire under the back of the truck. To remove it you get the jack handle (see owners manual for location, sometimes under hood or under rear seat) and to the right of the rear license plate should be a hole in the bumper. You stick the jack handle in there and crank counter clockwise. This lets the tire down. The tire must lay flat on the ground and slack in the lowering cable. There is a flat steel piece on the end of the cable that fits through the center of the spare rim.. just tip it and pull it through then slide the tire out from under the truck.

If you are unsure about changing the tire please read your owners manual. It will walk you through the entire procedure.
