yes.. we can smoke
, we can drink and get raucous, without some fat bouncer throwing his weight around... we can amuse ourselves to death (sorry roger)

you cant drink and drive, which is good. you cant get drunk and have a good time, because town is usually full of 16 year old dicks who just want to fight... ... which is bad...

we have friends around, we go and visit our friends... yes i can have a drink, and get plesantly stoned without worrying...

in fact the last time i was in a pub was on my 40th birthday... im 50 in november. and im not missing the pub one bit.

and apart from the health issues, its cheaper to stop home with friends... its safer... and theres no such thing as chucking out time. and getting a taxi isnt a problem.
