Well, this is interesting, because I'm trying to do the exact same thing myself. You should start by making a list of your good and bad qualities. That way, you can recognize what you're doing right and work on what you're doing wrong. It's hard to tell you specifically how to improve your personality, because I don't know where you're at right now, but sometimes, to build character, you have to do things that make you very uncompfortable. For example, I have this huge fear of the " hip-hop" crew at my school, but I'm trying to get to know some of them and I'm starting to realize that gangster or not, they're just people like me. The fact that you want to improve your personality definitely says that you are on the road to being a good person, recognition is the first step. Remember, when you're improving your personality, don't do it with oithers in mind, do it for yourself, you can't impress everybody, be whoever the hell you wanna be and ignore the haters. Good luck, peace!

Improving your personality is all about "closing the gap."
You are currently at one level BUT you want to be at another level. What are you going to do to "close the gap"? And this could be in anything: the way you relate to people, the way you handle your intimate relationships, the way you behave with your family, the way you care for your own body in regards to your diet and your exercise routine and your level of hygiene, the way you handle religion and how you go about at expressing your beliefs, the way you handle your education and your money, etc.
So the real steps to improving your personality are the following:
1. Figure out where you are right now.
I don't know if you have ever had a psychology course before. But one of the questions psychology brought up when studying the concept of "intelligence" was: What IS intelligence? Surely, we could give HUNDREDS of definitions. It is very difficult to find a UNIVERSAL definition of intelligence, especially with all the research into spatial intelligence, social intelligence, emotional intelligence, mechanical intelligence, etc. So right now your goal is to figure out WHERE YOU ARE right now. It will be somewhat difficult because it is a very "abstract" concept. But try to put it in simple terms. For example, if you want to improve your money you say: I work a dead-end job and I hate it. This is concrete, this is clear, and you can build up from that. Got it? Focus on being concrete and real, not abstract and intangible.
2. Design a plan to "close the gap."
So, you work a dead-end job and you hate it. What are you going to do now?
A. You create an ultimate result
Example: I want to be a biochemist and work for a pharmaceutical company.
B. You create a purpose for this result, meaning, why do you want to do this?
Example: I want to do this because I will be able to afford all the thigns I want to buy, I will have a job that I am proud to talk about with friends and my family, and I will have a lot of interesting discussions about the pharmaceutical industry and maybe even write a book. (I don't know... it can be anything)
C. Decide the MAJOR steps necessary to do this.
Example: Step 1 is to find a technical college or a college where I can apply and be accepted. Step 2 is to apply. Step 3 is to find a way to pay for all this. Step 4 is to take my courses and do well with them. Step 5 is graduating. Step 6 is finding a job with a pharmaceutical company. Step 7 is interviewing with the companies. And Step 8 is checking off this wish because I have made it a reality.
And finally:
D. From each MAJOR step, create a variety of to-dos.
Step 1: Find a technical college or a college:
to-do: go online and look for colleges
to-do: ask for their pamphlets and general information
to-do: review their information and make a decision
etc.
Good luck.

first it's important to know what you lack in your personality... your gait, looks, lack of confidence....and what not...
just do it if it works.
everytime if you got time..lol .stand infront of mirror and say i'm the best...than try to do exercise normal( physical fitness), always try to tune with your fren large group of people, read some jokes , humour books and try to have sense of humour..
and last focus on your get up..and dresses.
