Hi!
Wow I finally found a question about Vampires!
My passion in life is researching vampire stories!
I have so many I can tell you, bu they're a bit long to type-
if you look up a book called "Bloody Irish" by Bob Curran it has some very interesting tales about Irish vampires, and gives quite strong evidence that many vampire myths and stories actually came from Ireland! There are 4 stories in the book, and there's also a great introduction! (By the way, I'm Irish)

I'd like to share stories and sources with you, so if you like, you can contact me- aliquigs@yahoo.com

Hope that helps!

Vampires do exist, but not the type in folklore with pointed canine teeth. They are ordinary human beings, not undead, as the myth portrays them, they die just like anybody else. These vampires make an incision somewhere in a person's body and suck their blood, they actually believe that they cannot survive without human blood, but it is believed to be a mental illness.

Honestly, that is just a myth in my opinion. Vampires aren't real. Sure we've all heard the story about Count Dracula and the like. Vlad Dracula was actually an evil ruler of Transylvania, which is actually a real place. He was blood thirsty and was known for his insane punishments like roasting people, burying people alive and cutting off limbs or other body parts. He actually lived in Transylvania castle (Dracula's Castle) and is known as Vlad the Impaler. He was an actual person and Dracula legends are based on him and his crazy obsession with torture. If you want to read his story (it might interest you), use this link.

I do enjoy anything to do with them...as you say the mythology! I can't say I have had any personal experiences with a vampire though...
apart from the occasional love bite that is :).

No I don't believe in them, but I know there are people who actually practice the same myths that vampires came from.

The only vampires that exist are those who like to drain other people dry of money, not blood.
