See your doctor immediately! Make an appointment TODAY! It can be something minor and easily fixed that may turn into something major if YOU WAIT TO SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP! Best of luck.

Aside from what most of the other persons said about going to the doctor's, and if the problem IS the prostate, then you need to figure out what's causing it to swell. A doctor-in-training told me, the first time I had a problem, that it was caused by "old age." In other words, they don't really know! However, I've discovered, through painful experience, that some foods, or eating habits, are detrimental to the prostate: coffee and alcohol. You HAVE TO cut down or eliminate such items from your diet. They directly affect the prostate. I have a feeling--but that's all it is for now--that a high-fat diet, and too much sweets, are also not good for you, and not just for the prostate either, of course.
I had a procedure done last year called, I think, T.U.M.T. It was supposed to shrink part of the prostate by cooking it with microwaves--from the inside. (It wasn't as bad as it sounds! It was only slightly uncomfortable.) But I wouldn't recommend it, because it also shrinks the urethra, reducing the urine stream. But if you see a urologist and he recommends the procedure tell him you'd like to first try to shrink it by changing your diet. Yes, it will shrink on its own, in time, but never to the original size. Take the medicine he gives you--most likely Flomax--but change your diet as well. After a couple weeks it should have shrunk enough so you can do away with the catheter and foley and stop taking the medicine.

alongside with the solutions in the previous given, it may additionally recommend an enlarged prostate...which would be cancerous; or, even an STD. My speculations, and anybody else's, instruct that throughout the time of basic terms a doctor can diagnose your concern. in case you have not have been given coverage, there are consistently unfastened clinics or county hospitals that have sensible docs that don't value something. I strongly urge you to work out a doctor ASAP as you do not choose the concern to alter into extra extreme than it sounds like it already is.
