I have just recently purchased a notebook laptop.Every now again the touchpad does not work properly in that the cursor is sluggish to move.I have checked mouse properties which seem ok.Has anyone any idea what could cause this

somtime if the pad gets to much dirt or grease on it it will not respond properly try cleaning it with some bum roll

Try the Cruser Indicater in Control Panel.Then press Ctrl.If that doen't work your computer might be over heated.Keep the PC Cool & maybe u should clean it once in a while

Do you install the touchpad driver?
Sometimes you need to install the driver to use touchpad properly.

call to the customers service center from the company you buy from
don,t fix it yourself since you just buy it recently
