Windows XP Professional Edition has a 64-bit(dubbed x64 by Microsoft) version that takes advantage of 64-bit processors. If you're not using a 64-bit processor, you're not going to be able to use it. An easy way to know it your Windows is x64 is through the loading screen; it will say Windows XP x64 edition during loading. If it doesn't, then it's not.

So I guess you can install whatever it is you wanted to install safely.

Howzit

Windows X64 is a 64 bit operating system. Most average people use a 32bit operating system and it is run on normal processors like the one you are using...

me on the other hand I use an AMD 64-bit processor. I therefore can use Windows x64. So what you can do is search on the internet for a program that does the same thing and get it... I think you should get (WIndows Blinds or Style XP).

Or you can get you a new super PC with 64-bit capability.... you can even run Windows Vista on such a machine hey.... :)

Good luck

You can install your themes package safely.
XP Home does not have any 64 bit versions.

* wouldn't it be nice if people actually read your question before answering it ?
