Read up on the disease Progeria-(I'm not sure if that's spelled right) It's a disease that affects children causing their bodies to age rapidly which in turn causes an early death. You should be able to learn more on the subject from a medical website like webmd.com.I hope this helps.

Interesting question...I remember going to a 20th high school reunion and seeing classmates dancing together. Some looked like they could be the parent of others. Yet they were obviously the same age.
Old age is really the failure of one or more organ systems. They simply wear out. Consequently, "old age" can come at any age due to some combination of illness, genetics and lifestyle. As someone else mentioned, there is an illness called progeria that can bring on old age in the young.
On the other side of the coin, good lifestyle habits tend to keep the organs functioning at a younger level for longer periods of time. So you see chronologically old people functioning at a biologically younger level...and generally they tend to live longer as well.

If people die naturally it is because their bodies deteriorate or malfunction. This happenes through growing old - but also through illness.
70 % of all illness is diet related and could be prevented.
You can prevent growing old or deteriorating before your time by good nutrition and supplementation. So in other words you can find out how to live longer.
I found all this out - and loads more besides by having a FREE WELLNESS EVALUATION from a1diet.net

Old age is seldom put on a death certificate especially in these post Shipman days. It is however quite legal. I have never used it myself, but I know colleagues who have. I would guess these days it would need to be over 75 years but I suspect there may be no rigid rule.

People don't die of old age. They ultimately die due to a failure of something - their heart, for example.
So, people can die of heart failure at any age - even an infant.
