Seems the sound was accidentally uninstalled from my computer and now I can play anything with sound. The file was called something like RealTek HD. What can I do to get my sound back?

Howzit!
If you bought you computer brand new, just check on the CDs that came with the computer.... there should be a mother board CD.
Pop the CD in your ROM and install the sound drivers again and you will have sound again...
If you computer was bought from a friend (reliable or not) and you did not get all the CDs.... goto http://www.google.co.za and type in 'realtek sound drivers' and you should be able to download the sound drivers in not time (depending on your internet connnnnnnnnnnnection speed of course...
