Only if Condie Rice runs. She is the smartest and most level headed person in Washington D.C. She has my vote not because she is black or a woman But because she knows foreign policy and can make the grand standing politicians look like the bozos they are with out saying a word.

I think there will be a black man as president before a woman because men don't trust women and women don't trust women.
I'm not saying it is a good thing, but everyone knows it true.

Yes, someday there will be one or the other or one of each, I myself do not support or anticipate bing able to support Senator Clinton for a variety of reasons but one of them is not because of her gender, as for Senator Obama at the moment I'm very intrigued with him and interested in and kind of excited about his campaign, still want to know more on him, especially his views on foreign policy, but he's aong the top of my lists of possible candidates, also like Gov. Bill Richardson alot, possible first President of Latino heritage.

As frightening as the prospect of Hillary Clinton as President is, especially after declaring her intention to confiscate profits of private companies, the fact that the media has already anointed her makes any real discussions about it moot.
Hillary will make up for the millions she is losing to Obama in the free media attention and lack of scrutiny from the media. As hard as the media worked against Republicans in 2006 is as hard as they will be pushing Hillary and her neo-liberal agenda in 2008.

No I don't think Hillary will be elected.I truly think that Barrack Obama will be our next President. I don't know who I will cast my vote for yet. I will need to do some investigating first.I will contact both Democratic and republican headquarters here in my home town and read up on who and what the candidates stand for. before I vote.I think too many republican hate Hillary to vote for her.

Gender and color should have no bearing on the representation of our great United States I don't believe people in other countries are having silly debates like this one in fact I'm sure that during this war the biggest concern of most people is when are we going to have to worry about WMD's, Here on our soil people are living without heat, starving, fighting drug addictions, having their homes destroyed by unpredictable weather. The only name they could possible be uttering is god........The representation of this individual has never been proven..Black...white ...male ...female...

I don't know. I'm not going to vote on the account of color or sex, but those are two of my parties' top contenders. The other top contenders (while not drawing near as much attention) is a Latino governor (Bill Richardson) and a white former Senator and V.P. candidate (2004's John Edwards).
The field this year is large and diverse, and each person brings their own ups and downs to the table.

I really don't see what difference being a different race or gender would make. In my opinion once they get your vote and are elected into office they forget all about us anyway, and I don't believe the next president-elect will be any different.

It seems unlikely to me. Liberals who run on a liberal platform do not win Presidential elections in the US. Examples: Mondale and McGovern. Bill Clinton campaigned as a centrist, got lots of people to believe him and got elected.
When a black conservative runs for office, black liberals ruthlessly oppose him. To my knowledge, there have been no conservative women running for the Presidency. Liberals don't get elected when they are honest about their politics.
Hillary Clinton is beyond liberal. She appears to be a Socialist. She is trying the same stuff Bill did when he got elected.
